October 1 | The final LRRS weekend of the year has come and gone.
:-( The team was greated by great weather, although a bit chilly
in the mornings, and a great time. Only one little mishap, Bruce
got helped off the track in turn one during the start of LW Sportsman,
one "mechanical" (Kevins new bike was too bent to race) and one off-road
excursion (Scott decided to see what was on the outside of turn 9, but
kept the bike on two wheels!).
After this weekend, TDR now has 4 expert racers, Scott now has enough points and races under his belt to move to expert! Way to go Scott! Check out all the action in the Report section, and check out the images in the gallery. |

September 4 | The LRRS fall
roundup was a blast! Bruce competed in both the LRRS
races and the flat track races that were going on, getting a 2nd in flat
track and a 3rd in Super Singles! Bruce also ran the fastest laps
he has run all year!
Scott met with a little less luck, lunching his transmission on the last lap of GP Singles, after a close to a year hiatus from racing. Thanks to the great generosity of fellow racer Micky Curry, Paul was able to race on a borrowed F3. He came home with an 8th and a 10th, running just 2 seconds slower than his fastest times! Kevin also had a great weekend finishing 4th in Productions Twins, against bikes with 17" wheels and running modern rubber, while he is running bias ply tires on 16" rims. Way to go!! |
|
August 28 | Well, Paul was looking really good at Pocono, qualifying
on the 10th row (out of 16) with a time of 1:48.781 for the Formula
USA Sportbike Race, over 3 seconds faster than his best time the year
before! Finding over 2 seconds during the qualifying session, Paul
was confident he would be running in the 46's during the race. Unfortunately,
with only 4 laps to go, Paul lost it in turn 1 after passing two bikes
on the brakes. Paul and the F4 left the track and then tumbled in the gravel.
Paul is fine, just bruised up a bit, but the bike is going to need some
work.
Read all about it in the Report section, and check out the images in the gallery. |

May 22 | TDR emerges from the "weekend from hell" triumphantly! Even though the weather did not cooperate, the races ran long, the vintage bikes oiled the track, it seemed like every race was redflagged....twice, the TDR races came through with flying colors. Read all bout it in the Race Reports and check out the pictures in the Gallery.
May 15 | The TDR Showcase at Robinsons ACE Hardware was a huge success. Even though mother nature tried to dampen our spirits by dampening our bodies, a great time was had by all. Several of our riding buddies made the trek out to say "Hi" and hang out for a while, and many of the Robinsons customers came over to learn a bit about roadracing! We hope to something like this again! Check out the action in the Gallery section.
